Today’s blessing was actually something Mom and I do nearly every day anyway, but today I actually cherished it and took it for something that I will not get to do forever. We went for a walk around a local, dead mall tonight after dinner. I usually only spend about 45 minutes with her when we do this and often we get into disagreements or arguments, but tonight we decided to double our time by walking around each floor twice! This meant we spent 90 minutes together.
We laughed, talked about the music playing, and just shared some wonderful memories that I’m sure I will treasure forever! It even continued long after we were in the car and driving home. I was really happy that I finally could see her happy again even if it was only for that short time. As I’ve said before, it’s rare that I ever see her genuinely smile and is happy again.
So I guess that’s really all to report tonight and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.

I am Roman Catholic. I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University.
I'm currently employed at Lakeview Village Retirement Home and I own my own business -- C & S Productions, L.L.C. (check it out at http://www.csproductionsllc.com), and am single.
My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^
