“Guess what time it almost is!” my coworker chanted happily. If I recall correctly, Thayne was the one to reply this time, but I know at one point he and I have both answered correctly: “Christmastime!” My coworker, Thayne, and I all love Christmas. I don’t know why my coworker and Thayne love Christmas, but I love Christmas for the very fact that the world seems so much more peaceful and magical at that time. I think also my coworker may have been the first person on my team (work team that is) to actually hear me burst into song and not be embarrassed by it. Maybe. Maybe not. I’m pretty sure now that I think on it some more, possibly Thayne has heard me sing. I know that he’s most likely snuck up behind me when I’ve been working and had my music playing; I believe I was singing Amazing Grace.
Anyway, yes, it’s almost my favorite time of year (and as I told Thayne), I’m actually starting to count down to Advent. I’m excited! We will soon be singing in Latin (at least Adeste Fideles). Sometimes we even chant or have Gregorian Chant at Mass. I really enjoy both! Next week is actually the last week of the Liturgical Year and we’ll soon begin Cycle A in Advent.
Well, I guess I’d better sign off for now since I decided to write so late. Maybe, if I’m not too busy this weekend, I’ll write more then.
Love and prayers, as always! ❤
