When blood sugar (glucose) numbers get you down, as mine did to me this morning, just remember these things: 1) There will be days when your blood sugar/glucose is high and it’s not necessarily your fault. You may have eaten all the right things, but your metabolism or hormones are just acting funky that day. 2) Your A1C is an average over the course of 3 months; one high or one low is not the end of the world. 3) You can always do better tomorrow. 4) As long as your numbers are not so bad you ended up in the hospital, you’re still on target. Even if you did end up in the hospital see numbers 2 & 3.
So I decided to write this entry in hopes it will help someone and even myself when days go wrong as they often do and you feel that you’ve just totally messed your whole diabetic life up! I am pulling for you and we can do this together! 😀
