A Beautiful, New Haircut and Style

Normally, I don’t like it when people take away my curls and give me a new look, but I decided to go with the flow today and get my hair done by one of my greatest friends and I’m so grateful I did! I honestly can say it’s beautiful and I love it!

Haircut from December 3, 2015

So I guess you could say it’s not always a bad thing to have changes in your life. Some changes are okay. This new look is definitely one I plan on keeping for quite a while. I can also say that indeed I do look thinner around my face and am happier. Yes, it is permanent, I plan to keep losing weight and staying happy (heck, I may even keep this style)! Also you’d never have guessed I had just gotten over a terrible cold. Maybe this is the start of something new and wonderful! Let’s hope so. (She also did Mom’s and Steven’s hair today and they, too, look fabulous — but sorry I don’t have any pictures of their new looks.) Anyway, that’s the main reason I posted is to show that my friend knows how to bring out the best in anyone and this is what she wants to do for a living — make people look as pretty as they are inside and bring it to the outside so others can see it! I hope I can (and really do) do the same!

Love and prayers always!

About Christy

I enjoy: my family, my faith life, photography, drawing; writing, working on cars, basketball, football, and baseball. These are just a few of the many things I like...you'll just have to read my blog to know me better to know more of them. Other things you may not catch on that I enjoy are: cats, angels, ballroom dancing, Christian music, camping (being one with nature and all of God's creations), traveling, cherry and apple blossoms, and the colors blue (in all shades), white, black, dark purple, and SOME shades of pink. (Rainbows are cool, too. And I'm NOT a lesbian! Although, I'm friends with some gays and lesbians as well as a few transgenders.) I am Roman Catholic. I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University. I'm currently employed at Nestle Toll House/Haagen-Dazs (at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park), I own my own business -- C & S Productions, L.L.C. (check it out at http://www.csproductionsllc.com), and am single. My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^ Lastly, I am 36 years young!
