White Rabbit Welcomes Autumn 2015

White Rabbit! It’s a beautiful autumn day today; finally some relief! I’m so tired of hot weather and am eager to be wearing sweatshirts and flannels. My favorite time of year (aside from winter of course)! I guess it’s just I don’t really do well in summer because I have one medicine I take that makes my core body temperature rise; I don’t like spring because my allergies drive me nuts (enough said)!

Anyway, it’s very nice to have cooler weather and less heat. The only drawback to this time of year means the days (okay, daylight time) get shorter and it’s closer to the maddening holiday shopping season. I never have liked that even before I worked in retail.

All in all autumn is still one of the best times of year in my opinion. I also am not one of those people who go nuts over pumpkin spice anything. Pumpkin and I have never really been the best of friends. I’m not crazy about pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, or pumpkin spice lattes. Please don’t hate me; it’s just not my thing. I’m more into apples. I love apple pie, apple cider, apple cider doughnuts, apple butter, etc.

So with the change of seasons, this means I can finally enjoy my apples in season. 😀

Wow! Okay, this is the strangest topic I’ve been on as of late and I’m also very tired, so please excuse me for the weird topic and randomness. I’ll be getting back on track (I hope) on Saturday (which is my class reunion and I’m still not sure if I’m going or not).

Love and prayers!

About Christy

I enjoy: my family, my faith life, photography, drawing; writing, working on cars, basketball, football, and baseball. These are just a few of the many things I like...you'll just have to read my blog to know me better to know more of them. Other things you may not catch on that I enjoy are: cats, angels, ballroom dancing, Christian music, camping (being one with nature and all of God's creations), traveling, cherry and apple blossoms, and the colors blue (in all shades), white, black, dark purple, and SOME shades of pink. (Rainbows are cool, too. And I'm NOT a lesbian! Although, I'm friends with some gays and lesbians as well as a few transgenders.) I am Roman Catholic. I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University. I'm currently employed at Nestle Toll House/Haagen-Dazs (at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park), I own my own business -- C & S Productions, L.L.C. (check it out at http://www.csproductionsllc.com), and am single. My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^ Lastly, I am 36 years young!
