No More Drama!

No more drama! I beg of you! Please no more drama! I’ve had a lot of drama the last few days and most of it could have been avoided. I could have easily had a better day at work yesterday if I hadn’t let two girls (not sure of their exact age, but I’d venture to guess between 18 and 22) get the best of me. I’ll elaborate a little, but I’m trying to move past it. These two girls insisted that I put on gloves to wait on them, put each cookie in its own bag, warm them up, get the freshly baked cookies that literally just came out of the oven just before I got out there to wait on them, and get their free drink (which by the time they were done ordering was not free any more). No politeness was exchanged; I was just ordered to put on new gloves each time and only a little tip was left (their total was about $12 USD and I only received about $1 and some coins…their change). I felt this was racism just reversed from the typical way you hear about it and I was on the receiving end. 😥

No more drama! I tried to get some work done today at home for our business, but Mom insisted on me going for a walk this evening around the mall (where I work). Then she said I could just go with Steven. 😕 WHAT?! That makes no sense whatsoever!

No more drama! On our way home I took a different route because they’re working on the street in front of our house. I couldn’t see too clearly around some of the construction workers’ vehicles, but I did see a car had just pulled behind one of them and was letting other cars go by. Sadly, a person behind me was very impatient and honked their horn excessively for me to go, but by the time I sped through the intersection they couldn’t go and I finally got the car safely onto the driveway. 😥 Too much drama!

No more drama! I just want to relax and rest! I need a break! I need a vacation (if only I could afford one)!

Love and prayers (for serenity, calmness, peace, and…NO MORE DRAMA)!

About Christy

I enjoy: my family, my faith life, photography, drawing; writing, working on cars, basketball, football, and baseball. These are just a few of the many things I'll just have to read my blog to know me better to know more of them. Other things you may not catch on that I enjoy are: cats, angels, ballroom dancing, Christian music, camping (being one with nature and all of God's creations), traveling, cherry and apple blossoms, and the colors blue (in all shades), white, black, dark purple, and SOME shades of pink. (Rainbows are cool, too. And I'm NOT a lesbian! Although, I'm friends with some gays and lesbians as well as a few transgenders.) I am Roman Catholic. I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University. I'm currently employed at Nestle Toll House/Haagen-Dazs (at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park), I own my own business -- C & S Productions, L.L.C. (check it out at, and am single. My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^ Lastly, I am 36 years young!
