Looking Forward

I’m looking forward and trying not to look back. You see I decided to finally weight myself tonight and that’s one of many things that has me trying to look forward. I’m looking forward to weighing less. I’m very close (well if you consider 46-47 pounds close) to my goal weight. I haven’t’ been that close in a long time. I’m sure I can do it and I cannot see myself any other way. It’s just amazing to hold up some of those old sizes and think, “I actually used to be that big! Oh gosh, I’m never going back there again!”

I’m also looking forward to relaxing and enjoying time with my family again. Sure we do it whenever I don’t work, but something is different when we share presents; hot cocoa; and Christmas carols (just to name a few things). I’m looking forward to spending that time with them and enjoying their company. Maybe it’s because I finally have an idea as to what to get them this year that they’ll enjoy.

I’m even looking forward to shopping for my Secret Santa at The Disney Store this year. I’m not going to post who I got in case someone here knows me in real life and knows some of the cast there. Let’s just say I have a few ideas as to what to get him/her, too. I also am looking forward to finding out who my Secret Santa is.

Lastly, I’m looking forward to finally paying off my debts to Steven for helping me pay for my new tires and the snow blower he bought. I will finally be debt free. I hate owing people money. I always do my best to pay everyone back in full no matter how small the sum of money is. On a side note to that, I can’t wait to finally have more than my minimum in my account again, too.

Anyway, there’s no going back — only forward! With God’s help we can look forward to a lot more.

God, bless us — everyone!

About Christy

I enjoy: my family, my faith life, photography, drawing; writing, working on cars, basketball, football, and baseball. These are just a few of the many things I like...you'll just have to read my blog to know me better to know more of them. Other things you may not catch on that I enjoy are: cats, angels, ballroom dancing, Christian music, camping (being one with nature and all of God's creations), traveling, cherry and apple blossoms, and the colors blue (in all shades), white, black, dark purple, and SOME shades of pink. (Rainbows are cool, too. And I'm NOT a lesbian! Although, I'm friends with some gays and lesbians as well as a few transgenders.) I am Roman Catholic. I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University. I'm currently employed at Nestle Toll House/Haagen-Dazs (at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park), I own my own business -- C & S Productions, L.L.C. (check it out at http://www.csproductionsllc.com), and am single. My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^ Lastly, I am 36 years young!
