So Far So Good

So far so good; I’m sort of surviving this holiday season as people are rushing about the mall shopping and dropping by the store for cookies, etc. Yesterday was somewhat hard as I was having such an off day. I was in so much pain. My ankles hurt, I had a headache, and just plain didn’t feel like being at work. Well, that all changed when my co-worker helped cheer me up by doing what he does best — making me smile and listen to all my complaints from not finding my camera to what I thought was accidentally throwing away my prescription (Mom actually found the prescription on the dinning room table amidst many papers). He said he’d keep his eyes open for it after I described it. I doubt I’ll find it any time soon and I’m not sure where it went to either. So here’s my plan: I’m going to buy a replacement on eBay and hope (and pray) it will eventually show up somewhere.

Also during this season, I’ve been able to put more faith in God and realize when I come home I have someone (actually two people) to love me and listen to me. I am happy and feel very blessed to have Mom and Steven here for me. 🙂 This week has also been a bit more peaceful than I initially thought it would be. 🙂

Well, I’m getting sleepy, so I’d better sign off before I fall asleep in front of my laptop here for you.

God bless!

About Christy

I enjoy: my family, my faith life, photography, drawing; writing, working on cars, basketball, football, and baseball. These are just a few of the many things I like...you'll just have to read my blog to know me better to know more of them. Other things you may not catch on that I enjoy are: cats, angels, ballroom dancing, Christian music, camping (being one with nature and all of God's creations), traveling, cherry and apple blossoms, and the colors blue (in all shades), white, black, dark purple, and SOME shades of pink. (Rainbows are cool, too. And I'm NOT a lesbian! Although, I'm friends with some gays and lesbians as well as a few transgenders.) I am Roman Catholic. I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University. I'm currently employed at Nestle Toll House/Haagen-Dazs (at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park), I own my own business -- C & S Productions, L.L.C. (check it out at http://www.csproductionsllc.com), and am single. My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^ Lastly, I am 35 years young!
