It snowed early this morning and it’s still snowing! I normally am thrilled to see snow, but today I was a bit upset. This meant that Steven wouldn’t be able to go to work today and earn money. He also had to use some of his hours and won’t be getting any more time off until about May (or at least that’s what he tells me).
All in all I’m happy to see snow! I was afraid it was going to be a brown winter. I hate brown winters. I am always happy to see snow as it means that there is always a hush over the world at that time. It’s quite peaceful and tranquil. I love how everything is silhouetted against each other. Winter is quite possibly a season for kids. You can build snow people, igloos, snow forts, etc. It is a season to bundle up and have a good time!
I bundled up and shoveled snow and I’m thinking of maybe building a little snow person (since it didn’t snow too much), but then again I may just take photos of the snow. I love it so much!
God created all seasons so we can enjoy each one and that is the beauty of living in the Midwestern United States (of America)! I don’t have just one or two seasons. I have all four! I thank God for the winter snow, a bit delayed in coming but is here nonetheless. Enjoy your season, whether it is winter; spring; autumn (fall); or summer!
