Another Snowshoe Bunny?!

White rabbit! Ha, ha! Got you! Okay, so as you know (by now) it’s the first of the month and that means it’s “White Rabbit Day” again. Also this time it also means, 24 days ’til Christmas. Ack! I haven’t even lifted a finger to do any Christmas shopping. Well, okay a little. I bought something for Mom on eBay, but I am not posting what it is because she might read this or someone might read this and blab to her what I got her.

Anyway, I have no idea what to put on my Christmas list. The obvious answer is new clothes. I have lost more weight (not as much as I’d like to) since last Christmas and yet I don’t have the room for them. I guess I could also ask for art supplies. I draw like mad some weeks; which also brings to a logical conclusion that I could also use some pencils and soft pastels. I also listen to a lot of music. At last count (which was over 2-3 years ago) my CD collection contains more than 300 CDs. I am sure it’s grown by now. Also I could ask for a new computer, but I would then be pushing to try to get this one out of the way and pull all my vital info off of it or pull the hard drives (yes, I have two now) out and put them into my new computer, but that’s so much work! I ask for popcorn (especially cinnamon and caramel) and hope I don’t eat it all before New Years; same goes for cordial cherries. I’d ask for Daddy to be home for Christmas, but we all know that will never happen. I’d love to see him again, too; I know (at least this is what faith tells me) I will see him again, but it won’t be the same. I would ask for a boyfriend, but I don’t want to be tied down and forced into a relationship that I may regret later. Besides, I have plenty of boy friends. 😉 I’d ask for a white Christmas, but those rarely happen here any more and when it does I usually am snowbound and can’t get out to do anything or enjoy it!

I guess all I really want for Christmas is to be with my family and surrounded by those I love. A day without fighting. A warm hug and hot (not too hot) chocolate or egg nog and some chocolate chip cookies. I really don’t need or want much this year, or as far as that goes I haven’t really wanted or needed much for the past 4 Christmases.

God will give me all that I need or want. Right now that song seems true.

I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don’t care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree

I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas
Is you

I don’t want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
And I don’t care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree

I don’t need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won’t make me happy
With a toy on Christmas Day

I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
You baby

Oh I won’t ask for much this Christmas
I won’t even wish for snow
And I’m just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe

I won’t make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won’t even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeer click

‘Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do?
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
You

Oh all the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children’s
Laughter fills the air

And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won’t you bring me the one I really need?
Won’t you please bring my baby to me?

Oh I don’t want a lot for Christmas
This is all I’m asking for
I just want to see my baby
Standing right outside my door

Oh I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is
You baby

All I want for Christmas is you baby
All I want for Christmas is you baby
All I want for Christmas is you baby

I pray that Christmas will be a pleasant one no matter how you celebrate it!

God bless!

About Christy

I enjoy: my family, my faith life, photography, drawing; writing, working on cars, basketball, football, and baseball. These are just a few of the many things I like...you'll just have to read my blog to know me better to know more of them. Other things you may not catch on that I enjoy are: cats, angels, ballroom dancing, Christian music, camping (being one with nature and all of God's creations), traveling, cherry and apple blossoms, and the colors blue (in all shades), white, black, dark purple, and SOME shades of pink. (Rainbows are cool, too. And I'm NOT a lesbian! Although, I'm friends with some gays and lesbians as well as a few transgenders.) I am Roman Catholic. I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University. I'm currently employed at Nestle Toll House/Haagen-Dazs (at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park), I own my own business -- C & S Productions, L.L.C. (check it out at http://www.csproductionsllc.com), and am single. My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^ Lastly, I am 35 years young!
