White New Year and White Rabbit

White rabbit! The first of the new year also started with a new blanket of white snow. The snow started yesterday and ended early this morning. Anyway, enough with this and on to my resolutions for 2013.

I only have four this year and I think they should be relatively easy to keep. First, treasure my family no matter how annoying they seem to be or as crazy as work gets or busy I become. Also I don’t want to take them for granted. Second, remember to brush and floss my teeth at least once a day whether I’m going out or not. I saw a lady today at work that had very rotted teeth and insisted getting soda and cookies. I could tell she didn’t floss or brush and I felt for her and her little girl I saw in her arms. The little girl was just beginning to teethe, too. Third, I plan to live my dream whether I’m at work at the cookie/ice cream store or my own company. Along with that I plan to put a lot of effort into my own company whenever I am not at the cookie/ice cream shop. Lastly, I plan to focus on success. It doesn’t matter where I am or what I’m doing; I will focus on success and that will make me happy which in turn will make others happy.

On a side note, I do plan to write these entries slightly earlier so I won’t be bringing my laptop to bed with me and get more sleep. More sleep will lead to my blood sugar/glucose levels being more on target. My blood sugar/glucose levels on target will lead me to losing more weight and eating healthier (getting more exercise will also help of course).

Well, there you have it. I hope all will turn out for the best this year. So happy new year and white rabbit, one and all!

God, bless us everyone!

About Christy

I enjoy: my family, my faith life, photography, drawing; writing, working on cars, basketball, football, and baseball. These are just a few of the many things I like...you'll just have to read my blog to know me better to know more of them. Other things you may not catch on that I enjoy are: cats, angels, ballroom dancing, Christian music, The Catholic Cathechism, camping (being one with nature and all of God's creations), traveling, cherry and apple blossoms, and the colors blue (in all shades), white, black, dark purple, and SOME shades of pink. (Rainbows are cool, too. And I'm NOT a lesbian! Although, I'm friends with some gays and lesbians. ) I am a proud Roman Catholic (feel free to ask questions as it helps me to grow in my faith). I graduated from Johnson County Community College, where I majored in Animation in hopes of fullfiling my dreams of being a computer generated animation movie maker. I also have a degree in Corporate Communication from Avila University. I'm currently employed at Nestle Toll House Cafe/Haagen Dazs (located at the lower level of Oak Park Mall across from Locker Room by LIDS and Pagoda), and am single. My favorite time of year is Winter and the Christmas season! It's just so...well, I can't put it into words. ^_^ Lastly, I am 31 years young!
